THE ROLE—
The Creative Project Manager is an instrumental member of the account team, orchestrating the planning, creative development, production, implementation, and reporting for projects big and small.
The Creative Project Manager ensures maximum success for our clients by acting as quality control officer for all final creative deliverables, monitoring live asset performance in market, and recommending tactical adjustments to optimize performance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE
DOING—
The Creative Project Manager will act as the glue for every project, which means:
Translating client needs into actionable briefs that provide clear guidance to the creative team to translate the client’s needs into an executable design solution
Creating and managing project schedules, staffing plans and workflows to deliver against project scopes, budgets, timelines and target outcomes
Leveraging a blend of IQ, EQ, experience, and tools (Slack, Monday, Figma, Google Sheets, Quickbooks etc.) to keep projects running smoothly, efficiently and transparently
Motivating and supporting team members by creating a positive, inclusive and productive working dynamic where we can all do our best work
Hiring and managing third party suppliers as needed to supplement the Public Office team including copywriters, motion graphics artists, web developers, photographers, etc. to collaborate and contribute to the overall creative process and deliverables
Coordinating all the stakeholders of a project including the client, their partners, our in-house team, and our network of freelancers, suppliers and collaborators
Building and maintaining positive, productive relationships with clients and partners through excellent professional, proactive and solution-oriented communication
The Creative Project Manager works closely and collaboratively with studio leaders, fellow producers and teams to effectively manage, plan, prepare and appropriately resource and communicate deliverables to ensure overall studio productivity is maximized.
WHO YOU ARE—
You are a master of all things production and a skilled project manager who can quickly and confidently interpret client briefs and collaborate with the Public Office team to turn them into compelling creative solutions. You are a strategic problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment while managing multiple deadlines and working well under pressure. You have a strong attention to detail, are highly organized, and are at your most productive when having your hands in many projects at one time.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE—
5-7+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager in marketing, media or a similar creative industry
Built insight-driven brands using a market- and customer-based lens
Managed complex projects across a range of media: OOH, digital, print, audio, social,
photography, in-store, email etc.
Earned a proven track record of superior organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments
Earned a college or university degree in a relevant field (e.g. humanities, social sciences, creative industries, etc.)

Possess a creative eye and a deep passion and respect for the creative process
A catalyst for an effective creative and design process and workflow, including defining clear roles and responsibilities, leveraging industry tools and best practices
A proactive problem-solver who sees around corners and adapts quickly as needed
Able to work collaboratively and efficiently with clients to understand detailed requirements, assess and deliver on their needs from brief to execution
Highly detail-oriented and a solution-driven team player
Ability to communicate directly, clearly and effectively with clients, key stakeholders, and business owners to manage expectations at all levels
Ability to manage projects at both the macro and micro level
Willing to jump in to support internal and external team members where needed
Super positive attitude and energy
THE DETAILS—
Full-time permanent hybrid role based at our studio in Toronto’s west end, with 3 days/week minimum in-person at our dog-friendly, open concept, sunny transit-accessible studio
